3 Days of my CNY celebration in Melaka

On the 8th Feb 08, the whole nite I nvr sleep.. cos I scared I will overslept for the bus ride at 08:00am.. So on 08th Feb 08, I left my house at 05:45am.. took a cab to Bugis Village as I noe Bugis McDonald open 24 hrs daily.. and Bugis is very near to the Bus Station tat I'm going to board at 08:00am..

Reached McDonald at around 06:05am, ordered a Big Breakfast before boarding the bus.. While having my Big Breakfast bought a Strait Times & 新明日报 to read in the McDonald.. So after reading Newspapers is about 07:05am, so I slowly walked over to the Bus Station..

When I reached the Station is not even 07:30am, as the counter will only open after 07:30am.. so while waiting for the counter to open, juz light a cig and wait one side.. When the counter is open, I'm the first to register at the counter.. I got the Bus nos & Sit nos.. Bus nos plate is MAL 6829 and Sit nos 14..

The bus open the door at around 07:45am, so we board the bus.. Get to noe a ger from Jakarta.. She was here to study but bcos his hometown got flood so her parent ask her not to go back.. Then she decided to go Melaka to look for friends over there.. She's quite a friendly ger, quite chatty.. Ask me alot of questions like how long is the journey from Bus Station to 2nd Link.. Then when reached 2nd Link, she start asking how long is the journey from M'sia custom to Melaka Bus Station..

Surprisingly when boarding the bus, happened saw so one familiar but not sure if she's the one.. So I called her, then confirm she's Jacquelin, Wan Ling.. One of the trainee nurse who took good care of me in NUH.. Haha, she also going Melaka with her family..

She was there for 4 days 3 night staying in Hotel Equatorial is one of the expensive Hotel Melaka.. Especially they went during CNY period, consider Super Peak over there.. The rate are from RM330 to RM592.. hmmm, really damn expensive!! The bus moved off around 08:04am, reached Singapore Custom at 08:32am..

The driver drive really slow in Singapore.. As most of the buses overtake our bus easily.. when travelling in M'sia, think the bus speed only 60 km/h cos from the M'sia custom to Melaka is about 230km.. and it took 4 hrs 30 mins to reach the station.. when we reached the station is about 12:30pm..

Actually before reaching Melaka Station, at around 50km from Ayer Keroh Toll.. Dear already call sms me saying when reach Ayer Keroh Tow muz sms them and tell them.. So juz drop them sms said I'm reaching cos from their house to Melaka Station is less then 10 mins driving..

Finally reached Melaka Station, Dear & Tommy came to Station & fetch me.. The first I reached Station, I straight away went to A & W and eat the WAFFLES... I missed Waffles so much tat Dear ordered 2 pcs to share among myself, dear & Tommy.. but maybe Dear ordered Ice-Cream Waffles, I didn't finished the Waffles.. think I still prefer Plain Waffles with Syrup only.. Anyway I get to it the waffles.. heehee..

After Waffles, we head to KFC cos their mum want to eat KFC.. We tau pau 6 pcs of original chickens with nuggets.. and we head back to their house.. First thing I saw his mum, greet her with oranges then sit in the hall for a while then went up to his room & rest.. Maybe I didn't get to sleep the whole nite, really very sleepy.. I went up & sleep, Dear also follow me.. so both of us from 02:00pm till 06:30pm.. Wake up then his mum ask us to have dinner.. After dinner, we rest in the hall..

At around 18:45pm, received a call from Julius saying he's coming over to Melaka to have fun with us.. We were quite surprised that Julius will come.. As he did told us, he wan to come over to Melaka but didn't noe is real tat he's coming.. So I quickly call Frederick tat Julius is coming over to Melaka.. but during tat time Frederick still can't confirm if he can follow Julius to Melaka as he still with his family go around to 拜年。。

So at first we thought only Julius is coming cos he say once he reached Melaka will call us.. So we juz wait for him at home.. So at around 21:10pm, he called me saying tat he's at Pagoh already and bring along a 神秘人物， actually he dun need to say we already suspect is Frederick..

At around 21:50pm, Julius called me again saying tat he's at Ayer Keroh Toll.. We quickly moved off from their house to fetch them.. so when we reached Ayer Keroh Toll, we saw Julius & Frederick.. so happy & surprised to see them.. after fetched them, we lead them to Dear's house cos we asked them not to ride as we can sit together in the cars.. Cos Siva is waiting for us over at Dear's place so tat we can bring them for makan around Melaka easily..

This Julius also very funny, he went to Dear's house and get himself change into Ah Pek dress.. haha!! So me & Julius took Tommy's car, Dear & Frederick took Siva's car.. So we bring to eat Satay Chulu (dunno how to spell) at Weili's place.. Weili is Dear & Tommy's classmate during secondary times..

So when we reached there, we ordered about 140 sticks (estimate) of satays but the ingredients are very special.. think so far only M'sia have, S'pore still got no one come up with this idea.. Anyway it was quite nice!!

After makan Ong Kim Wee (Is a Road Name), we went to nearby their house to have kopi there.. This Mamak stall quite special, got Wi-Fi.. Can allow pple to use their Wi-Fi while having kopi & food over there..

Had our Makan & kopi session is already 01:15am, the next day Julius still need to werk.. I really salute him tat can travelled all the way from S'pore to Melaka juz to have supper with us.. He did mention if he's not werking, he will sure overnite in Melaka for a day and go back on the next day.. Too bad he need to work!!

So we send them off to Ayer Keroh Toll, at about 01:30am they move off.. I told them to sms me once they reached S'pore.. I did received their sms, they reached S'pore Custom at 03:15am.. Really damn fast!!

2nd Day of CNY in Melaka - 09 Feb 08

Wake up at about 13:30pm.. Both of us really sleep like a PIG.. haha!! Woke up, wash up.. His mum already prepare Steamboat for us to eat!! Enjoy our lunch then later decide wat to do later.. Then Boon Rong called say he's coming, after awhile then Boon Rong reached their place then we chit chat for a while then decided to proceed to Raymond's place to 拜年 ..

We reached Raymond's place at about 15:00pm.. He told us he nvr go anywhere cos Jasmine is sick during CNY.. She's having bad soar throat for the past few days, can see she's quite sick as her face look so sick but she's still came out of the room to serve us with drink.. After tat we planned to watch movie at nite.. So after leaving Raymond's place, we head to Melaka Mall to purchase tickets..

At first we thought of watching CJ7 but when we go there, there're a few time slots showing but all sitting are only left with front sitting.. So we decided to watch Meet The Spartans cos Siva's friend told him tat this movie is nice & funny.. So when purchase 7 tickets (Alex, Siva, Tommy, Raymond, Jasmine, Dear & myself)..

After buying tickets, Siva need to rush and meet his friends.. then we head back home, before going home Dear feel abit hungry.. so we went to purchase burgers.. Reached home then realise his mum nvr cook and wan to eat Pizza.. at first we thought of following Tommy to buy pizza but then Ngan and Kok Hong came over to their place to 拜年。。 they came over for awhile then rush to another place to meet others..

So we juz relax at home till 21:00pm then go over to his Grandmother's place to 拜年。。 actually we're meeting the rest for movie at 21:30pm.. so we can only stay awhile at his Grandmother's place then got to rush to the Melaka Mall to meet them.. When we reached there is already quite late, when we reach is around 21:40pm.. due to traffic jammed tat why we're late..

When we enter the cinema, the show already start..

The movie really suck.. only 01 hr 15mins only.. pple watching the movie keep laughing but we find tat is real boring.. but no choice, already bought the tickets juz continue to finish the show till the end.. Siva feel so scared when the movie seem like ending after 45 mins but luckily it did not end.. he really feel guilty telling us the show is nice.. haha!! Anyway we enjoy the show too.. TIEW!!

After movie.. we went to meet Ngan, Kok Hong & their rest of the schoolmates.. Over there we had our late dinner there.. then chit chat with them till late nite around 01:45am.. Actually next day we still got to go Pray at temple so got to go back & rest early.. We reached home around 02:15am.. Slept at 03:00am in the morning.. TIEW!!!

3rd Day of CNY in Melaka- 10 Feb 08

Set the alarm clock to wake up at 06:45am.. In the end we woke up at 08:00am.. haha!! Wash up and leave home at around 08:30am.. Reached temple around 08:45am.. the whole place was so crowded.. Parking was full everywhere.. So we park a place where need to pay parking coupon.. The rates from RM1 raise to RM3.. Dear's elder brother was so angry about this, but no choice maybe is Chinese New Year tat why the price has been raised..!!

We went to pray partly also bcos 马和兔，今年犯太岁。。 So we went to temple to 求平安。。 After temple we went to have our breakfast nearby the temple.. everywhere in temple was closed due to Chinese New Year.. So finally found a coffeeshop which is open.. had our breakfast and head home and rest cos later we're leaving back to Singapore at 14:00pm..

Before leaving M'sia, Terence came over to their house to 拜年 before he leave for JB in the evening.. so long nvr see him, he seem to be slim down alot ah!! He stay for awhile then left for home too..

Actually already arrange to go back with Raymond ytd.. before tat already planned to meet at 14:00pm at Ayer Keroh Petronas.. but Raymond say he still haven't take his lunch, so we waited for awhile plus he still haven't really pack his things.. by the time he finished packing already 15:30pm..

We rush over to Petronas to meet Raymond & Jasmine as we're 15 mins late.. heehee.. After we reached Petronas, they're ready to move off then Raymond told Take How tat he will exit at Tangkak to visit Jimmy & his family.. So the moment when we exit Ayer Keroh Toll.. The whole Expressway was jammed like hell.. Oh my god!! The speed they're travelling is abt 80 - 100km/h.. Tat was damn really slow!!

Tangkak is actually quite near to Ayer Keroh.. The journey is estimate 28 km.. So we finally reached Jimmy's house.. His father came out & told tat Jimmy had went up to KL to visit his relatives over there.. So we missed him!! After sitting for awhile, we let uncle & auntie noe tat we're leaving back for S'pore..

Finally at ard 18:30pm, we finally reached GP Petronas.. All petrol kiosk are full with cars & bikes..

We waited for awhile at ard 18:45pm, we decided to leave and go back to S'pore custom.. At first we thought all jammed are clear but NO, we're wrong.. When we almost reaching S'pore custom, the jammed was like hell!! From 3 lanes the jammed made the whole highway become 4 lanes..

We can't even see the bike lane at all.. We got to squeeze in between cars in order to get to the bike lane.. When we reached the bike lane, only one counter is operating.. After waited for 10 mins, custom finally open another counter.. My god, the queue still very long, we queue for almost an hr.. From 18:55pm to 19:55pm.. Shit, have nvr queue for so long ever since we stop going to 1st Link..

Once we exit S'pore Custom.. We straight go back and unpack our things from our bike.. after tat we straight away go over to Frederick's house, as they're having CNY Buffet dinner over their place..

After dinner we went back to our place and rest.. at ard 01:41am Frederick sms us going for kopi at Lavender FC.. So we went over to meet them, at ard 03:30am we finally head home rest & sleep..
